Hummus overkill

Back in the middle east. Got a great Hummusavocadopepsibreakfast. Living for last 4 days in a venue in the middle of a street market, somewhere in Tel Aviv. the noize starts every morning at 5am. Normally we are not going to bed before 4am. I am wondering that i can even sleep until 12am. I love to go on the balcony and watch the people bying stuff or yelling on each other, while the cars complete the chaos with their horns. I never heared so many horns. Its like a big concert.
I will move to Haifa together with Dave aka Siegfried-Roid rage and Nadav .
The rest of our travel group did it in the morning(i stayed lazy in bed) cause we are playing there tomorrow.
Sometimes travelling in big groups( we are two bands) gets on the nerves at all. Especially when everybody tries to do all shit all time together.
But in the end everybody enjoys the time here, that predominates of course.
We escaped the cold, spending now much time as we can on the streets. Meeting people, hanging out on the beach, talking shit and seeing shows.....
I think Caravels are a great soundtrack for that.

Purity control cassette II

These days are cold and snowy. it s beautiful and in the same way boring to be in the periphery. in the city the snow only sucks. the time runs faster and the snow seems to interfere. i can't relax. even when i can relax in the snowy periphery, after some days i miss the urban thing.
that blog is mostly an personal outlet for my uncomfortable times, sometimes in a mental way , sometimes in a physical way.
you can pick out what you want. all depends on each other. on some days you can handle things otherwhile not. sometimes i am bored of all the punk and hc thing and capture myself listening to the new arcade fire album. just few minutes later there comes a band like Purity control, appearing so simple, but at the end there is a big fuck u for everything. it works. some minutes, some hours or months are saved.
if u see anywhere this second demotape, buy it. call that stuff powerviolence or rough hardcore. who cares.

Uzbeks___________Demo Tape

I woke up by the noise and screaming of builders, who wanna dry the bottom of our kitchen, cause we had a wateraccident some months ago.
Outside are 2°. Larry David would say pretty, pretty, pretty good.
I call this is my personal hell.
What ever, i had the luck to play on the same show with a band named Uzbeks two weeks ago. Based in Haifa and Tel Aviv, they are something like a supergroup of the local punk//hardcore scene , cause they were and are still involved in many other bands and projects.
I know their shmucki singer Nadav now for 4 years, so the show at the atari was a kind of big family meeting.
I remember it all ends in the morning. Assaf and Nadav sitting frustrated in my room, finding no tabacco to build a sportcigarette.
Uzbeks doing some fast oldschool punkrock remindung me on Bands like Dean Dirg, Smart Cops or the punk wave in Denmark in the beginning of the 21th century.
Twintoe Records released the Demo last year and a brand new "12 LP some weeks ago.

Frank Faster________Discography Tape

Even if i know that these are more or less prosperity problems. I'm pissed of all the bureaucratic stuff i have to deal with at the moment. Crawling in somebodies ass seems to be the easiest way to survive. Nothing new just an old story.
So i follow my mood and decide to post some heavy shit.
Frank Faster, based in Leipzig, went to the hunting grounds in 2008. The four songs of doomed weighing tons hardcore are their legacy. The recordings were posthum released by Konsti from Gafas del Rigor.
After the break up they formed Black Freighter without the old singer.
Black Freighter are more athmospheric and doomy, but still hardcore based.
They released one split and one full-length "12.

Vyst_______Demo

Actually i have to read two essays of Jerker(great name, think of it when you really have the absurd urge to make descendants!!!) Blomqvist, but who cares? I post some material of beloved friends again.
Vyst are a 4 pieced band from Leipzig. The demo came out last summer, only to grabb on their shows. Three tracks of dark driven hardcore, sometimes in the vein of that portland stuff, but only sometimes. The quality is excellent and demo-unlike.
They will hopefully release regular a "12-inch soon. So watch out for it.

Dead Hand______Gutfried Youth Tape

The first release of Ex-Samurai Tod under the new name. The five tracks are blackened chaotic hardcore more bedlam and dark than their other two older outputs. Met those nihilistic sauna lovers first on a cold winter night. i was frozen at the entry when they played with Rebarker and Julith Krishun .
The tape was brought out by the beloved Konsti from Gafas Del Rigor Cassettes.
Be careful of that undogmatic[totally UNSACRED] stuff.

well, tonight my friend Litte plays with his new 77punk band a gig, at the same time in the suburb Amen 81 are playing too. and me? I sit at home writing my papers about nazi christians in the third reich.
hard times, even though i got some nice 7inches sent per post in the morning. only classic stuff like vicious, punch in the face and the finest italian l'amico di martucci(split with cemeterio shöw from spain) and ohuzaru. you can find all that shit on other blogs, i will not post this.
but i wanna praise an one-year old radio show. when the free leipzig radio blau was still on and not only to listen on the web. the show is only in German but who cares.
